WEEK 3 POST 2:Communication-Business and Consumer.

1. Urbn/Water Supply Co. https://urbnwaterco.com/ Urbn Water is an alkaline water company based out of Oceanside Ca. They are a small team with a large following of supporters. On their website, it is very simple to maneuver your way around with easy access to its social media links. They are on Facebook and Instagram. Their last post on Instagram was January 30 2020; with a 31.6k following. On Facebook, last post was July 2019 with a following of 46 people; which is also their current number of followers to date. This company has a an active Instagram account from athletes, artists and creatives they sponsor, who also tag their products (water and merchandise) through the app. The use of Instagram gives them an upper hand with having "influencers" tag and promote their water and merchandise for their followers to see. Whenever there is difficulty from a product or service, communication online is key now that we live in a web based society. We stay connected online for personal and business use that interaction with other users should be just as important. In my own personal life, I have dealt a good deal of good communication  from businesses online. My questions are always answered and solutions are consistently found when difficulties come about.  Social Media provides personal and business e-mails for customers to contact, in a case of an issue from a product or service. Another part, is customers also provide reviews (good and bad), for other consumers and overall benefit for businesses. Yelp is one social media app that I frequently use weekly; I am a sucker for consumer reviews. They are help and informative of services in your surroundings. WEEK 2 POST 1:Social Media Platforms.

 We all have our favorite social media app or apps. If I had to choose, my top choices would be Instagram and YouTube. On Instagram we our glamoured and fascinated by the lives and livelihood of other users. We enjoy scrolling through trending topics for entertainment and you can't have one over the other, especially if your excuse to be on social for personal use, is for business. In past discussions with friends who run a clothing brand business, he uses both of these social media platforms for personal and business as well.   If one of these had a better advantage for business it would be Instagram. Instagram holds several tools a business owner utilizes to market products and services, and also provide links to product/service details and company websites for purchases.
